ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSSealed proposals addressed to the General Manager and Board Directors of Chisholm Trail S.U.D. will be received until 2:30pm Tuesday January 8th, 2013 at the District Office 851 FM 970 or P.O. Box 249, Florence, Texas 76527 and publicly opened and read aloud, for furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, plant, labor, superintendence and incidentals required for the construction of:
CR 234 8” Waterline Improvement
Major Items of Work Include:
Approximately 776 LF of C900, DR14 8” PVC WL; 60 LF of 18” Steel Encasement (3/8” thick) Open-Cut; assoc. appurtenances and services.
Bids must be submitted on the bid forms provided and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the penal sum approximately equal to and not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the base bid, payable without recourse to the Owner. The Security may be in the form of a certified cashier's check or a bidder's bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company approved to do business in the State of Texas as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a 100 percent performance bond and a 100 percent payment bond and guaranty forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. Bids not accompanied by a cashier's check or proposal bond will not be considered.
Plans and specifications may be obtained from Halff Associates Inc., Two Sierra Way, Suite 105, Georgetown, TX 78626 for $50 per set (non-refundable).
Chisholm Trail SUD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities.
