Spring Fling date changed

The Horseshoe Bay Business Alliance Spring Fling has been rescheduled to May 9.
Due to projected weather conditions, the HBBA Board has postponed the event for a week. The location and time of the event will remain the same; Martin Park from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
"We were so concerned about the weather; we waited until last minute to decide, said Francie Dix, President of the Horseshoe Bay Business Alliance Board. "We felt it would be uncomfortable for our participants to attend and difficult for the businesses.
Dix said that the forecast is projecting scattered thunderstorms and high winds beginning later Wednesday night and continuing through Thursday morning.
"Its going to be at the same time, same place, but on a different week, she said. "The City was good enough to let us have the park for next week.
The event will feature from 20 to 31 booths, and there is no charge for both space for business alliance members of record. For all others the charge will be $50 for members of record and $10 for members. Members of record are considered active alliance members who have attended at least one meeting prior to the event.
Martin Park is located adjacent to the Horseshoe Bay City Hall on RR 2147. For more information or to rent a both, contact Francie Dix at email@example.com.
