MUDs, water district approved

Elections were held to establish a water control improvement district and two municipal utility districts in Burnet County and elect board of directors for each Saturday and a total of five votes were cast.
Two people voted in the election to establish the Clearwater Ranch MUD No. 1 and to pick a board of directors.
The directors elected were John W. Doyal, Michael L. Lott, J. B. Huffman, Scott A. Mutschiunk and Jeff Hoiberg.
Two people voted to establish the Burnet County Mud No. 2 and five people were picked to be directors.
The directors will be Rodney Zielke, Robert Pursel, Teresa Pilot, Gerardo Colunga and Bob Durman.
Two people also voted to establish the Lake LBJ Water Control Improvement District, levy a $1.50 per $100 valuation tax and elect a board of directors.
The directors elected were Donn Barkowsky, Larry Beseda, Dave Hudson, Greg McDonnel and Conrad Vernon.
