Mabray appointed Associate Judge

Llano County Attorney Cheryll Mabray has been appointed the new Associate Judge of the Child Protection Court of the Hill Country.
Llano County Commissioners will meet Monday to discuss
The Child Protection Court hears child abuse and neglect cases in Brown, Coryell, Gillespie, Lampasas, Llano, Mills, and San Saba counties.
Llano County Pct.1 Commissioner Peter Jones said the county attorney position can’t have a vacancy, but Mabray may be retained as the county attorney of record until an appointment is made by the commissioner’s court.
A release from the Llano County Attorney’s office said Mabray will be administered the oath of office by the District Judge Dan Mills of the 424th District Court on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. in the Llano County District Courtroom.

Mabray was appointed by Billy Ray Stubblefield, judge of the 26th Judicial District Court in Williamson County and Presiding Judge of the 26th Judicial Region, Dean Rucker, Judge of the 318th District Court.
