Arson suspected in Kingsland fire; son posts reward

Volunteer firefighters from Kingsland and Buchanan Dam fought another structure fire in Kingsland Wednesday night.

According to KVFD member John Raschke, firefighters were called to the structure on RR 1431 at 9:07 p.m. and fought the blaze until 11:30 p.m. The fire was another suspected arson and is being investigated by the Llano County Sheriff’s Office.

Last week a 17-year-old Kingsland boy was arrested and charged with arson after an investigation revealed he allegedly set fire to a woodpile in the 100 block of Wood Forest.
