Two injured in deer related accident on TX 71

The driver and passenger of a motorcycle were both hospitalized Wednesday night after a collision with a deer on TX 71 East of Sandy Creek.

Llano County Sheriffs deputies, Horseshoe Bay Fire and EMS and Marble Falls EMS responded to the scene where both riders were conscious.

The male rider was transported to Brackenridge Hospital in Austin and the female rider was also transported to Brackenridge via Marble Falls EMS, said Horseshoe Bay Fire Chief Jim Fiero.
