Gina Shaffer, owner of Hill Country Gifts & Wild Herbs, is this week’s winner for The Llano County Journal’s Reader’s Choice Awards drawing.

"I enjoy seeing all the winners in the Reader’s Choice Awards every year,” said Shaffer. "I’ve won a couple of years, but missed out on it last year. It is fun to see how the votes turn out for each category.”

Shaffer won $50 from the Highland Lakes Newspaper Group who sponsors the annual awards for the Highland Lakes cities.

You don’t have to enter the contest – or provide your name and contact information – to vote in the annual fun contest to recognize exceptional businesses and individuals in the community.

Just return the ballot on Page 7A of today’s paper to The Llano County Journal at 507 Bessemer, or mail it to our office at 507 Bessemer, Llano, Texas, 78643 by Jan. 7, 2013 at 5 p.m.
