Virdell challenging Mayor Reagor

Llano City Mayor Mike Reagor is seeking re-election and has drawn a challenger in Mikel Virdell who also ran against him in the May 2008 election.

Other current council members whose terms end in May include Sherry Simpson and Dustin McLeod.

Llano residents who have filed for council seats include John Ferguson, Gail Lang, Bobbie Lou Gray and incumbent Simpson.

Councilwoman Kelli Tudyk resigned during the Feb. 19 meeting, citing residency issues. She later said, "I resigned my seat do to residency change. I will be continuing to office out of Llano. Llano is my home and always will be.”
