Kingsland Chamber dissolves park group

February 26, 2013, 9:00 pm by Lyn Odom

The Kingsland/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce Board has dissolved the volunteer Kingsland Community Park Committee, and a new group was named to take their place.

The chamber board made its move during a meeting Feb. 19. A new group, Park/Maintenance Committee, was named by the board and so far includes board member Carol Smith.

But no one from the chamber could be reached to discuss the changes.

When asked about the recent happenings, a chamber representative said, "For the answers to your questions, you will have to come to our March board meeting and talk to all directors, not just Cindy (chamber president Cindy Miller). Our next board meeting is March 19 at the American Bank of Texas Meeting room at noon. You can speak to all directors.”

For the full story, see Wednesday's Llano County Journal or Friday's Highlander.
