Golf contract inked; city to hire manager

March 19, 2013, 9:30 pm by Lyn Odom

Llano City Council on Monday extended the contract with Two-Pro Golf Management, approved the contract for a new city manager and approved a slight increase for solid waste services to consumers’ monthly bills.

The city entered into a contract with Two-Pro Golf Management in March of 2012 with high hopes for increased revenues from the city-owned golf course. But those hopes fell when the council found revenues had instead decreased from years past. The management company was expected to increase revenue by improving the course and focusing on membership.
