HSB POA Manager to leave association

March 22, 2013, 11:15 am by Alexandria Randolph

Horseshoe Bay Property Owner’s Association Manager Tom Engler declined an offer to accept changes in his current position, and will be leaving the association on May 1.

According to POA Board member Tom D’Arcy, the board expressed intentions of increasing the required hours of the manager position, while maintaining the same salary.

"The board had met for several months in view of the expansion (of the association) and determined that we needed a full time manager,” D’Arcy said. "The board felt we needed a 40 hour a week manager, and Tom was only working about 16 hours a week.”

D’Arcy said that the board offered Engler the redefined position, but he turned it down.

"He will stay on for the next 60 days until we find a replacement,” D’Arcy said.
