Marble Falls City Council has approved the final plans to build the hospital complex at the Wayne and Eileen Hurd Regional Medical Center – Scott & White.
On Tuesday afternoon at a special meeting the council approved the construction plat that will allow Scott & White to build infrastructure on the property, but they will not be able to build vertically until a building permit has been issued.
"They will probably not start with the physical
vertical construction of the hospital building for six months. We will be ready
to issue the building permit in a month or two- within 60 days." said
Director of Development Services Caleb Kraenzel.
