Kingsland homeowner in limbo after sewage floods house

Imagine returning to your weekend home to find your furniture floating in raw sewage.
That’s exactly the scene Keith Durrett found upon returning to his Kingsland home.
"I had about three inches of sewage inside my house- in every corner; we had to throw furniture out,” Durrett recalled.
Now, after $50,000 in damages and clean-up costs, there is
still no relief in sight for Durrett — neither his insurance company nor
Kingsland Municipal Utility District plan on picking up any associated costs.
