City of Llano rescinds stage 3 water restrictions
October 01, 2013, 12:00 am by Lance Reaves
The City of Llano Monday reverted back to stage 2 of the Water Conservation and Drought Contingency Plan due to an increase in flows on the Llano River and forecasted cooler temperatures.
Under stage 2, property owners can water twice per week with automatic irrigation systems or hose sprinklers according to the published schedule. Owners are not allowed to water during the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Odd numbered addresses may water Wednesday and/or Saturday, while even numbered addresses may water Thursday and/or Sunday. Commercial or multi-family properties may water Tuesday and/or Friday.
Additional restrictions prohibit the use of water for fountains, wash down of sidewalks, and washing of vehicles except on designated watering days.
