The opening of the Baylor Scott & White Specialty Clinic on TX 71 and the development of the Wayne and Eileen Hurd Regional Medical Center-Baylor Scott & White it sits on is already attracting traffic to the Hill Country, and locals expect the trend will continue upward when the hospital opens in 2015. The center could potentially house a cancer treatment facility and other supporting businesses according to hospital officials.
