Faith Academy wins, 50-6

Faith Academy used its big play attack to score a 50-6 win over the Texas School for the Deaf Friday night in Austin.
Jacob Metcalf had a hand in on three touchdowns and Royale Brown added a touchdown run and reception for the unbeaten Flames.
Spinner back Austin Ellis hit Metcalf on a 42-yard pass with 20 seconds left in the second quarter to put the Flames ahead 28-0 at intermission.
The Rangers scored their only touchdown with 3:46 left in the game.
Faith Academy (8-0, 3-0) opened the scoring with Brown scoring on a 3-yard run just two minutes into the game.
Metcalf scored his first touchdown on a 5-yard run with 10:06 left in the second quarter.
Ellis then ran in from four yards out and also ran in a two-point conversion for a 20-0 lead with 4:21 left in the second quarter.
Metcalf opened the third quarter with a 34-yard run and Jonathan Reyes kicked the PAT for a 35-0 lead.
Midway through the third quarter Zach Haydon hit Brown on a 36-yard scoring pass and Ellis connected with Matt Manley for the conversion.
Gavin Henderson closed the scoring with a 45-yard fumble return for a score.Faith Academy will play San Antonio Hawkins in a 6 p.m. Thursday game at the Wheatley Athletic Complex. Itís a non-district game for the Flames.
