Llano volleyball warms up for district play

Llano’s volleyball team rolled up two non-districts wins over Canyon Lake and Ingram Tom Moore to boost the team’s record to 12-17, heading into the District 8-3A schedule.

The Yellow Jackets will open district action with Brownwood on Friday, Sept. 21 at Llano.

The Lady Yellow Jackets beat Tom Moore on Friday. 26-24, 25-19, 25-12, with Jessica Wunderlich leading with 13 kills, two blocks and two aces. Cierra Jordan added 10 kills.

Cheyenne Swenson had 16 assists. Cierra Caffey and Jordan combined for 18 digs.
