Wimberley holds off Llano girls

The rivalry between Wimberley and Llano’s girls’ teams was renewed Friday night at the LHS Gym. Wimberley won a rather schizoid affair 42-39 when Llano’s Cierra Jordan just missed a buzzer shot that would have sent the game into overtime.
The Lady Texans improved to 8-8 while the Lady Yellow Jackets dropped to 8-13.
