BANGS -- Llano used a balanced attack to spoil Bangs' homecoming Friday night in a 50-23 win at Memorial Stadium.

Yellow Jacket quarterback Layton Rabb threw for 189 yards on15 of 18 passes with four touchdowns to lead the offensive outburst.

Wide receiver Isaac Hutto caught three of Rabb's scoring tosses, from 11, 12 and 14 yards out.

Rabb outperformed heralded Bangs quarterback J.T. Newton, who was under heavy pressure all night from the Llano front seven. Newton managed to hit nine of 16 attempts for 172 yards, but that was all Bangs had.

Llano's Rhett Brooks rushed for 75 yards on 14 carries a Siegenthaler to give Llano an 8-point lead.

Llano quickly expanded its margin to 24-0 after Hutto's catches of 11 and 12 yards.

The Yellow Jackets also scored on a safety when Newton kicked the ball out of his end zone after one of six bad snaps in the first half.

Llano's balanced attack included 179 rushing yards and 189 passing yards.

Both team move to 1-1 on the season.
