Billy Joe Harris, 49, lost his battle with cancer on Oct. 29.
He was born on April 16, 1963, in Slaton, Texas, to Cone Harris and Willie Nelson Harris.
Harris is survived by daughter Brittany Cullison of Bryan, Texas; granddaughter Hannah Cullison of Bryan; sister Kathy Griffith of Burnet; brother Robert Harris of Georgetown; brother Gene Queen of Hugh Springs, Texas; brother Wilson Harris of Marble Falls; sweetheart Rebecca Cowart of Burnet; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Nov. 2, at 2 p.m. at the Clements-Wilcox Chapel in Burnet. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
