She was born July 4, 1921 to Alice (Lindgren) and Armand Dubois in Providence, R.I. Lofthouse spent many years in Rhode Island, Nova Scotia and Vermont before moving to Dripping Springs in 1991. She later moved to Highland Haven.
She married William H. Lofthouse in Providence, RI.
She is survived by daughter Cheryl L. Bentley and husband Fred of Bothell, Wash.; grandchildren Fred and Chris; five great-grandchildren; sister Jeanette; and brother Armand.
She is preceded in death by her husband, and sisters Bertha, Norma, Mildred and Alma.
Funeral services are private and burial will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
The family deeply appreciates the care given to Elizabeth by the staff of Llano Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (Care Inn) during the last five years of her life.
