Jerome William Littlepage Sept. 23, 1947 ~ Oct. 27, 2012October 17, 2012, 9:04 am by Staff Reports Jerome "Jay” William Littlepage, 65, of Kingsland, passed away peacefully in his home on Oct. 27. He was born to Jay T. and Alice Louise (Birkner) Littlepage on Sept. 23, 1947 in Wheeling, W.V. Littlepage grew up in Kent, Ohio and proudly served his country as a Marine in Vietnam. He got a start in the restaurant business in Boulder, Co., where he met Kathleen Tucker, whom he made his wife of 18 years. He moved to Austin in 1977, where he owned and operated Mike and Charlie’s Restaurant for 14 years. In 2000, he became the general manager of the Antlers Hotel in Kingsland. He was a talented woodworker, and even built his own hay bale house. Littlepage is survived daughter Sarah and husband Chris Casarez of Brooklyn, N.Y.; son Ryan Littlepage of Washington, D.C.; grandson T.J. Casarez; brother Dick Littlepage of Philadelphia; sister Terry Munderloh of Arizona; and step-sister Anne Sartori of Boston. A wake will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 3224 Park Hills Drive, Austin, Texas 78746, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. An online guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com.
