Imogene I. Collins, 80, of Meadowlakes died Oct. 31. Born Dec. 15, 1931 in Palestine, Texas, she was the daughter of William Bert and Gilla (Holcomb) Ingram.
She married Eugene Collins on May 7, 1950. She was a member of Methodist Women’s Organization. Collins enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and helping others any way that she could. She was a beloved wife, a loving mother and grandmother and a great friend.
She is survived by husband Eugene Collins of Meadowlakes; son-in-law Dwain Hastings of Panama; granddaughter Shannon Adell Hastings of Houston; four great-grandchildren; sister Johnnie Corley abd husband George; brothers Delton Ingram and wife Sherri, and William Ingram and wife Alda; brothers-in-law Ray Baungart and wife Nancy, and Charles Baungart and wife Phyllis; many nieces and nephews; a host of friends; and her faithful Boston Terrier, Fancy.
Collins is preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, and her daughter Peggy Mae Hastings.
Visitation was held Friday, Nov. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls. Funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home with Rev. Ellen Ely and Rev. Jack Whyburn officiating. Interment will be at 1 p.m. at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
