She was a native of San Antonio, born to Miguel and Aurora Cortinas on June 27, 1913.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Elizabeth B. Wilson; son Albert Michael Blakeney and wife Dee; sister Ascension Sosa and husband Arturo; grandchildren Frank H. Wilson, Gigi Beauchamp and husband Russell, Cherie Kennedy and husband Robert, Tammy Hamilton and husband Gary, Marylou Blakeney, Carol Ann Blakeney, Donna Lynn Blakeney, Laura Lee Waterhouse and husband Jimmy, Robert Allen Blakeney; 22 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11 with a Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N. Main in San Antonio.
A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 12 with a 10 a.m. Mass being celebrated at the San Fernando Cathedral. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II. Please visit funerariadelangelroyakers.com for online tributes.
