Bernard Kleman Oct. 20, 1923 ~ Jan. 14, 2013January 04, 2013, 9:05 am by Staff Reports
He was born on Oct. 20, 1923, in Nazareth, Texas, where he grew up and graduated High School. Kleman then jointed the Navy and served during WWII. He married Irene Rickwartz on March 30, 1948, and moved to Amarillo where their son Ron was born a year later. Kleman was a Caterpillar diesel mechanic at West Texas Equipment for 38 years. After retiring they moved to Burnet to be closer to their son and his family. He was preceded in death by his son Ron. He is survived by wife Irene; daughter-in-law Linda; grandsons Kyle and Tyler; three brothers; and two sisters. The Rosary will be recited Thursday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Burnet. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Burnet with Father Anthony Alphonse officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park near Burnet. Arrangements by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas. Condolences may be offered at www.clementswilcoxburnet.com. |
