He was born to Oliver Oscar and Bernice (Brewer) Moore on Nov. 21, 1921 in Burkburnett, Texas. Moore worked at various jobs during his lifetime. He was a lumberman, constructed planes during WWII, and was a rancher. He was a member of the Hell’s Angels, IOOF, and enjoyed playing baseball and basketball, hunting and fishing and especially riding his motorcycle. He is survived by daughter Becky and husband Ben Rodriguez of Marble Falls; son Denton Foster of Cottonwood, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister Genevieve Lowry of Santa Barbara, Calif. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Martha (Odell) Moore in 1982 and son Ronald Moore in 1993. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Putnam Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. with Bishop Fred DeBusk officiating. Private inurnment will be held in Muleshoe, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to any children or pet organization in his memory. An online guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com.
