Mallory B. Moore May 18, 1920 ~ Feb. 7, 2013January 30, 2013, 9:00 am by Staff Reports
He was preceded in death by his wife Amy Gillette Moore; brothers Buster and Elmer; and sisters Ruby Mae and Verbalee. Moore is survived by daughter Terry; stepdaughter JoAnn; son Michael and wife Stephanie; brother Leonard Moore and wife Rita; grandchildren Cheri and husband Roman, Jessica, Amiee and husband Richard, and Mallory and wife Caroline; great-grandchildren Isabella, Wayne, Andrianna, Terri Ann, Tyler; devoted companion Mary Jo Keel; and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many others whose lives he also touched. Moore was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marble Falls and the Senior Activity Center where he enjoyed playing dominos and bingo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during WWII. He was also a lifetime member of the American Legion and Kingsland Post No. 437. After retirement in the 1960’s as an automobile mechanic for a large auto dealership in San Antonio, he moved to his home in Granite Shoals. He and his wife enjoyed fishing, gardening and traveling in the travel trailer that they had. A visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10. Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 11 at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home with Brother Max Copeland and Brother Ross Chandler officiating.
