Mike Mitchell, 64 of Llano, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19. He was born Aug. 3, 1948 in Rockford, Ill. to Liz (Shaw) Mitchell and Jim W. Mitchell. Mike was a member of the Llano Cowboy Church and he loved hunting and playing chess.
Survivors include his parents, Jim and Liz Mitchell of Llano; brothers Scott Mitchell and wife Debbie of Cedar Park, Texas, Jeff Mitchell and wife Chris of Frisco, Texas and Buck Mitchell and wife JoAnn of Grantsville, Utah; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Mitchell in 1985.
Visitation was held Thursday, Feb. 21 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Waldrope Hatfield Hawthorne Funeral Home.
Graveside services were held Friday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at the Llano City Cemetery with Reverend Stacey Nobles officiating.
