Jo Patton, 84, of Granite Shoals passed away Feb. 18. A service for Jo is pending at this time. A service and burial of her ashes will take place at Pleasant Valley Cemetery at a later time.
Mable Jo (Williamson) Patton was born June 6, 1928 in Burnet to Wiley Monroe Williamson, Jr. and Lena Mae Lowery Williamson. She grew up in South Texas and was a resident of Granite Shoals since 1990. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, friends, and neighbors. She loved dancing and listening to country and western and spiritual music. She had a wonderful sense of humor.
Jo is survived by her daughter Sandra Johnsotn of Cedar Park; sons Johnny Lee Pavelka of Lakehills, Donald Gene Pavelka of Austin, and Ronald Dean Pavelka of San Antonio. She is also survived by step-sons Ric Patton, Jr., and David Patton, both of Dallas; sister, Gladys Atkinson of Granite Shoals; and brother W.M. Williamson, Jr. of Bertram. Jo is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Lee Patton in 2002 as well as sisters Monetta Bollom, Dorothy Clinton, and Wilma Pavelka and 1 grandchild, Gina Rose Vasquez.
