July 29, 1958 ~ March 2, 2013.

David Rainey, 54, of Kingsland, passed away March 2. He was born to James Eugene and Betty (Burt) Rainey on July 29, 1958 in Lubbock.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army. After his discharge in 1984 he became a sign maker. In his spare time he enjoyed working, and playing cards and slots in game rooms.

David is survived by sons, Shawn Rainey of Kingsland, and Daniel E. Rainey of Salem, Ore.; mother, Betty Northam of Kingsland; half brother Chris Northam and sister Nan Munce, both of Marble Falls; nieces and nephews also survive.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at the Calvary Hill Church in Kingsland on Tuesday, March 12 at 11 a.m. Rev. Zane Lewis and the Highland Lakes Honor Guard will officiate. An online guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com.
