"George,” as he was called by friends and family; spent the 19 months of his life newly discovering those things that older people take for granted. He loved to play on the playground. His favorite things were books, elephants, cats and fire trucks. He didn’t have a special one — he liked them all. Many afternoons were spent at the park playing with his big sister and his cousin, Abby. He smiled his biggest when he was in one of the swings there.
A memorial service will be held at the park located at Packsaddle Elementary School, 150 Pioneer Lane, Kingsland, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in his memory to your local volunteer fire department or public park.
