Shirley Ann Hatfield, 76, passed away Friday, Sept. 20.
She was born May 8, 1937 in Clarksdale, Ill. to Harry Clinton and Bernita (Moses) Brown. Shirley married Willard Hatfield on May 7, 1996 in Llano, TX.
She has been a resident of Llano 16 years moving here from Cedar Park.
Shirley was a people person, loved to cook for people, enjoyed gardening, embroidering and was very active in The First Baptist Church in Llano. She had been a Nurses Aide for Llano Memorial Hospital for many years.
Shirley is survived by her husband Willard Hatfield of Rio Llano; sons, Harry, and wife, Judy Spinner, of Liberty Hill; Mike and wife, Angie Spinner ,of Georgetown, David Joseph Spinner of Florida; daughters, Deborah and husband, Jeff Eby of Dallas; Cynthia and husband L.C. Tubb of Ft. Worth; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home in Llano.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the First Baptist Church in Llano with Rev. Rick Cundieff officiating. Burial will follow at the Llano City Cemetery.
