Llano beats Glen Rose, faces Porcupines next

Llano defeated Glen Rose, 25-21, 25-15, 26-24, Tuesday night in the Class 3A volleyball playoffs and will meet the Springtown Porcupines at 7 p.m. Thursday at Stephenville in the area round.

Burnet put itself in prime position with its 44-36 victory over Liberty Hill last week.

Now, all the Bulldogs have to do is go take on the Llano Yellow Jackets on the road.

Llano volleyball positions for playoffs

Llano's varsity volleyball team beat Lampasas 25-6, 25-20, 25-7 Friday night to position itself for a spot in the playoffs. Cierra Jordan had 13 kills to lead the offense.
Llano is 5-4 in District 8-3A with the win and 17-21 overall.

 LAMPASAS – Llano’s Zach Morgan dropped Lampasas quarterback Kleg Kennedy for a 10-yard loss on a fourth-and-five play with three seconds left in the game to seal a 20-13 victory for the Yellow Jackets Friday night.

Liberty Hill runs to 55-28 victory over Llano

LLANO -- Liberty Hill’s vaunted Wing-T rushing offense rolled to 446 yards and six touchdowns in a 55-28 win over Llano.
It was the first District 8 3A game for both teams. Liberty Hill is now 5-1 and Llano is 2-4.
