Arlyne Adele Larrabee April 17, 1931 ~ April 14, 2013

Arlyne Adele Larrabee, 81, of Sunrise Beach Village died April 14, 2013. She was born to Ralph and Hazel [Price] Morwood in Houston on April 17, 1931.
For many years Arlyne and the love of her life, Peter Craig Larrabee, were owners of Lakeside Marine in Seabrook where they raised three children before retiring to Rockport in 1976. She was active in her community, a loving homemaker and an artist later in life. She will be remembered by her warm smile and laughter, love of fishing, and being a selfless caregiver to her parents and brother. She was an "awesome” Memaw/Mimi who has left behind a legacy for the love of cooking to all her children and grandchildren.

William Wimp Smyth Oct. 17, 1930 ~ April 12, 2013

William "Bill” Wimp Smyth, 82, of Horseshoe Bay died April 12, 2013. He was born October 17, 1930 in Dallas and was the son of Richard and Virginia Garrett Wimp.
Bill grew up in Lufkin where he graduated from Lufkin High School in 1948. He went to Baylor University in Waco on a basketball scholarship and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1952. He then volunteered for the Air Force during the Korean War in 1952 and received the National Defense Medal and was a first lieutenant. He was honorably discharged in 1954 at the end of the Korean War.

Cleveland L. Wiggins III June 18, 1971 - April 9, 2013

Cleveland L. Wiggins III, 41, of Lakewood passed away April 9. He was born June 18, 1971 in Pasadena, Texas to Diane (Hendricks) and Cleveland L. Wiggins Jr. On July 17, 2008 he married Diane Anderson in Eureka Springs, Ark.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Josephine Joan Waters Aug. 5, 1917 ~ April 15, 2013

 Josephine Joan Waters, 95 of Mansfield, formerly of Snyder, died Monday, April 15, 2013.  She was born August 5, 1917 in Morristown, N. J. to Antonio Maggio and Angelina Spoto.
During WWII she worked in a munitions factory in Parsippany, N. J. She later lived in Snyder where she served as a District Deputy Clerk in Scurry County for about 17 years.

Doris Mae Lindow July 19, 1928 ~ April 14, 2013

Doris Mae Lindow, 84 of Horseshoe Bay died Sunday, April 14, 2013. She was born on July 19, 1928 in Waxahachie to Dora (Cameron) Bullard and Robert Nathan Bullard. Doris married Ken T. Lindow on January 20, 1998 in Horseshoe Bay. Doris was a beautician for 45 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts and was active in the Marble Falls First Baptist Church where she was very loved by her church family.

Wyatt Gene Gilliam

Wyatt Gene Gilliam, treasured son of Kristina Louise Gilliam and beloved brother of Gracie Lynn Gilliam was born November 1, 2012.
He died April 9, 2013. Wyatt is deeply loved by his grandparents Tashya Gilliam and Shannon Simonds, great-grandparents Gene and Georgia Gilliam and Jackie and Ronnie Simonds. He is also deeply loved by his aunts and uncles, great aunts and uncles, and cousins.

Margarete Alice Alma Guthrie, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in San Antonio.  She was born on August 6, 1925 in Stonewall to parents Charles and Lydia Barsch.
Margarete was preceded in death by her spouse Herbert M. Willmann, sister Alvina Barsch, sister Augusta Hall, son Rodney Willmann.

Helen McCurley Feb. 21, 1921 ~ April 8, 2013

Helen Chapman McCurley died April 8, 2013. She was born Feb. 21, 1921 in Robstown, Texas to Mary Ione Stephenson and Lael Ogden Chapman. She and her husband Charles lived most of their 63 years of marriage in Houston and their later years were spent living on Lake Travis and then in Marble Falls. Helen was artistically gifted and enjoyed helping others. Her passion for gardening led to her being instrumental in starting the first Community Garden of Marble Falls. She enjoyed playing bridge with the Granite Hills Luncheon Club, was an active member of the Service League, and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Rev. John Robbie Tuttle July 15, 1923 ~ April 11, 2013

Rev. John Robbie Tuttle, 89, of Marble Falls, died April 11, 2013. He was born July 15, 1923 in Austin. John was the son of T.R. Tuttle and Ella Harp. He was a retired minister.
John is survived by his wife, Ruby Lee Tuttle of Marble Falls, daughters Eunice Young of San Marcos, Ruby Stroup and husband Raymond of Hillister, Texas, son James Tuttle and wife Rita of Lubbock, 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Kenneth Tuttle and John Tuttle and granddaughter Laurie Huber.

Shirley Ann Whitworth Jan. 1, 1954 ~ April 12, 2013

Shirley Ann Whitworth, 59, of Burnet died April 12, 2013. She was born in San Antonio on Jan. 1, 1954. Shirley was the daughter of Royce and Rosie Tenney of San Antonio.  She worked at BCISD for the past 12 years and she loved working with the staff and kids at Quest High School. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to the lake, music and dancing.  She was a loving and care free person.  She lived her short 59 years to the very fullest.  Shirley was a devoted wife, mother and friend.  She is preceded in death by her sister Laurie Tenney.
