Throughout the winter months, Texas Parks and Wildlife will stock more than 200-thousand rainbow trout at 100 sites across the state. The program hopes to hook new anglers into the sport by making fishing more accessible at urban lakes, state parks and river tailraces. Texas Parks and Wildlife has this report.
The first Llano Drug Free Rally was held Saturday at the American Legion Center. Numerous citizens, including the mayor, acting police chief and district attorney, were on hand to help raise awareness and propose solutions to the issue moving forward. One of the event's organizers, Pastor Ervin Light Jr. of the Llano Church of God of Prophecy, expressed his gratitude and hopes for the future.

More than 200 motorcycles made a pit stop in Marble Falls Wednesday on their way to Houston for the annual American Legion National Convention. The rider's annual trip known as the American Legion Legacy Run aims to raise scholarship funds for children of U.S. service members killed on or after Sept. 11 2001.
